① Swimming Hole
(15 min from Airport / 20 min from Songsong Village)

A natural pool formed in the rocky reef along the shore. At low tide, it fills with a refreshing mix of natural spring water and seawater bubbling up from the bottom.

② Teteto Beach
(15 min from Airport / 8 min from Songsong Village)

Consistently ranked as one of the world’s top beaches. Its white sand and stunning blue gradients are unparalleled on Rota. Look for the parking area between the road and the beach. *Outdoor cold showers available.

③ Tweaksberry Beach
(Near Songsong West Port)

Located right in front of the “Thousand Palms” area. This is a prime spot for capturing breathtaking sunset photos near the West Port.

④ Songsong Church Beach
(In Songsong Village)

A convenient beach within walking distance (approx. 10 min) from most village hotels. With plenty of palm trees for shade, it’s a great spot to relax. The sunsets here are exceptionally beautiful.

⑤ Songsong Village Lookout
(10 min drive from village entrance)

Offers a panoramic view of Songsong Village surrounded by Rota Blue. You can see “Wedding Cake Mountain” (Mt. Taipingot) right in front of you. Great for sunset views! (Approx. 40+ min walk if on foot).

⑥ Tonga Cave
(In Songsong Village)

A natural limestone cave 30m high and 50m deep. Stalactites are still growing here. It is said to have sheltered the first indigenous people who migrated from Tonga. During WWII, it was used as a Japanese field hospital.

⑦ Sugar Factory Remains
(Near Songsong West Port)

A brick factory built during the Japanese administration era. Though weathered, the ruins remain along with a German-made locomotive once used for transporting sugar cane.

⑧ Thousand Palms (Tweaksberry Park)
(In Songsong Village)

Planted by the U.S. government after WWII. While many were lost to typhoons over the years, many still stand today near Tweaksberry Beach and the West Port.

⑨ Old Japanese Cannon
(10 min from Songsong Village center)

A well-preserved WWII cannon. This site offers one of the best views of the Rota Blue ocean and Wedding Cake Mountain, especially during sunset.

⑩ Pona Point
(15 min from Songsong Village)

The southernmost point of the island, famous for rock fishing. The steep cliffs offer a thrilling view of incredibly transparent water below.

⑪ Bird Sanctuary
(10 min from Airport / 30 min from Songsong)

From a 50m high cliff, watch seabirds soar gracefully on the wind or rest in the trees below. On clear days, you can see the silhouette of Guam on the horizon. A very peaceful spot.

⑫ Taga Stone Quarry
(8 min from Airport / 30 min from Songsong)

A prehistoric site where ancient Chamorros quarried massive stones (Latte Stones) for building foundations around 3,500 years ago. A large, surreal stone statue of an ancient king also stands here.

⑬ Rota Cave Museum (Tonga Museum)
(5 min from Songsong Village)

Displays a wide range of artifacts, from ancient Chamorro tools and Japanese-era pottery/glassware to vintage telephones. Entrance is paid; it’s best to call ahead if you want to ensure the owner is there to open it.

⑭ ROTA Sign
(15 min from Airport / 12 min from Songsong)

Installed in 2019, this is the perfect commemorative photo spot. Located on the right side of the hill descending from the Rota Resort entrance toward the village.

波打ち際の岩礁にできた天然のプール。潮がある程度潮が引いた タイミングで行くと、底から湧き出る真水と海水の混ざったプールが現れます。

②テテトビーチ(Teteto beach)
　～車で空港からおよそ15分、ソンソン村からおよそ7～8分～

ダイビング雑誌の人気投票にも毎年選ばれている世界を代表するビーチ。白砂の美しさ、青のグラデーションはロタ随一、写真映えするスポットです。
看板などはないですが、道路とビーチの間に駐車スペースがあるのが目印。※水シャワーあり（屋外）

③トゥイックスベリービーチ(Tweksberry beach)
　～ソンソン村西港そば～

ロタの観光スポットの一つ『千本椰子』の前にあるビーチ。
西港のそばにあり、夕日の写真撮るには絶景ポイント

④ソンソン村教会前のビーチ
　～ソンソン村内～

村内のどのホテルからも徒歩圏内（10分前後）で一人でも気軽に行けるビーチ。
椰子の木もたくさんあるので日中も日影で休みながらのんびり時間をすごせます。ここから見る夕日は抜群にキレイ。

⑤ソンソン村展望台（Songsong village look-out）
　～ソンソン村展望台入り口から車で10分弱～

ロタブルーの海に囲まれたソンソン村を一望できるスポット。
目の前にはウェディングケーキマウンテン（タイピンゴッド山）
が見えます。夕日映えスポット。徒歩だと片道40分以上かかります。

⑥トンガケーブ(Tonga cave)
　～ソンソン村内～

高さおよそ30ｍ奥行きおよそ50ｍの鍾乳洞。ところどころポタポタと水がたれており、まだまだ鍾乳石は成長中。
トンガから移住してきた先住民が生活した場所であると言われています。
日本が統治していた太平洋戦争時には「神威洞」と呼ばれ、野戦病院の名残も残されています。

⑦製糖工場跡(Sugar factory Remain)
　～ソンソン村内西港そば～

日本統治時代に「南洋開発」によって建設された製糖工場。
レンガつくりの建物ですが、だいぶ朽ち果てています。
運搬に使われていたドイツ製の機関車も展示。

⑧千本ヤシ(Tweaksberry park)
　～ソンソン村内～

太平洋戦争後アメリカ政府によって1000本のヤシの木が植樹されたとのことですが、台風などの影響で今はその半分？位らしいです。
トゥイックスベリービーチと西港そばにあります。

⑨旧日本軍砲台跡（Old Japanese cannon）
　～ソンソン村中心から車で10分程度～

砲台はほぼ完全な形で今も残されています。夕日の絶景ポイントの一つ。
眼下には壮大なロタブルーが広がっていてウェディングケーキマウンテンが一番キレイに見えるスポット。

⑩ポーニャ岬（Pona point）
　～ソンソン村から車で15分程度～

島の最南端にある岬。磯釣りの好ポイントとして有名とのこと。
迫力のある断崖絶壁から下をのぞくと水に吸い込まれそうなくらい透明度高いです。

⑪バードサンクチュアリ(Bird Sanctuary)
　～車で空港からおよそ10分、ソンソン村からおよそ30分～

高さ50ｍの断崖絶壁から、風に乗って優雅に空を舞っている海鳥の姿や、はるか下の木々で休んでいる海鳥などを見ることができます。
天気がいいときにはグアムの島影も見える！海を一望できる癒しスポット。

⑫タガ・ストーン遺跡(Taga Stone Quarry)
　～車で空港からおよそ7,8分、ソンソン村から30分～

古代チャモロ族が住んでいた時代のタガ（ラッテ）ストーンと呼ばれる巨大な石の石切り場の工程跡。
およそ3500年前に作られた石柱は建物の基礎として切り出された。リアルでシュールな古代チャモロ族の王の巨大石像も待ち構えています。

⑬トンガミュージアム（ロタ洞窟博物館）
　～車でソンソン村からおよそ5分ほど～

古代チャモロ人が使っていたと思われる生活用具から日本統治時代の飯ごうなどの炊飯器具、ガラス容器、陶器類、近代のものと思われる電話機や車のプレートまで幅広く展示。
オーナーさんがいれば開けてくれますが、確実に行きたい方は一度連絡を取って行かれるといいかもしれません。入場は有料。

⑭ROTAの看板
　～車で空港からおよそ15分、ソンソン村からおよそ12分～

2019年に設置された「ロタ島に来たよ！」っていう記念になる撮影スポット。
場所が少し分かりづらいですが、空港からロタリゾートホテルの入り口を通り過ぎ、坂を降りる途中の少し進んだ右側にあります。
