Island Transportation
There are no public transportation services, such as taxis or buses, on Rota.
For travel between the airport and your hotel, please request a round-trip shuttle when booking your accommodation or arrange a rental car.
We provide complimentary shuttle service between hotels and our dive shop.
(*Please note: Transfers to/from Rota Resort Hotel are charged at US$15 per person each way, as it is approximately 15 minutes away.)
If you wish to explore the island, we highly recommend renting a car.
If you are uncomfortable driving, Blue Palms also offers guided sightseeing tours. Please feel free to inquire.

• A valid foreign driver’s license (e.g., Japanese) is acceptable for up to 30 days of stay. (Drivers must be 21 years or older).
• All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times.
• The minimum rental period is 24 hours. Cars must be returned with the same fuel level as when rented.
• Child safety seats are mandatory for children aged 2 and under. Rentals are available for $10 per day.

Please pay the rental fee directly to the rental car company.
*The agency booking fee should be paid to Blue Palms.
Accepted credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and JCB. (Diners Club is not accepted). Cash (USD) is also accepted.
【Pick-up & Drop-off】
• Pick-up/Drop-off is available at the airport, hotels, or the dive shop. (Business hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• For airport pick-ups, the counter is located to the right immediately after exiting the arrival doors.
*Pick-up and drop-off are not available outside of business hours. Please confirm return procedures when renting.
*Free parking is available at hotels.
*Please note that we cannot be held responsible for overbooking or errors caused by the rental car company.
【A Note from Our Staff】
Please be careful: Traffic drives on the right side of the road (left-hand drive), which is opposite to Japan. Safety first—seatbelts are mandatory and drunk driving is strictly prohibited!
Also, waving to passing cars is the “Rota Style” of greeting. Give it a try while you’re driving!
島内交通機関について
ロタ島にはタクシーやバスなどの交通機関がありません。
空港ーホテル間の送迎は、ホテルお申し込み時に往復送迎もあわせて依頼しておく、もしくはレンタカーをご利用ください。
ホテルーダイブショップ間の送迎については弊社にて無料で可能です。
（※ロタリゾートホテルについては片道15分ほどかかるため有料にて承っております。お一人様US$15）
陸上観光もしたい！という方はレンタカーがお勧めです。
運転が心配な方はブルーパームスにて観光ツアーも行っていますのでお問い合わせください。

【受け渡し】
・空港、ホテル、ダイブショップ等ご指定の場所で可能 （営業時間はAM8:00～4:30PM）
・空港にて受け取りの際は、空港内の扉を出てすぐ右側にブースがあります。
※営業時間外は貸し出しを含め返却も行っておりませんので、返却方法につきましてはレンタカーを借りる際にご確認ください。
※ホテルも敷地内駐車料無料
なお、レンタカー会社の不手際によるオーバーブック等の責任は負いかねますので、予めご了承をお願い申し上げます。

運転するときは日本と逆で左ハンドル右車線なのでご注意くださいね。
もちろんシートベルト着用、飲酒運転は禁止です！！
