Q. When is the best season for Rota Hole?

A. Generally, the best season is from April to September. Light beams are visible from mid-February to mid-October; however, the sea can be rough due to seasonal winds in February, March, and October, which may prevent us from reaching the site. Also, since the sun is at a lower angle during these months, the time window for seeing the light is limited.
Please note that even between April and September, diving is not 100% guaranteed. While July to September is the typical typhoon season, typhoons can occasionally occur out of season.

Q. Can beginners dive at Rota Hole?

A. Yes, but you must have good buoyancy control skills. Because Rota Hole is located near Harnom Point, currents can be strong. In such cases, we may prioritize safety and choose a different site.

Q. Does the boat have a restroom or fresh water?

A. There is no restroom on the boat. We return to the shop after each dive, so please use the facilities there. We do provide drinking water on board.

Q. Discovery Scuba Diving (Introductory Diving)

Q. Can I dive at Rota Hole as an introductory diver?

A. No, it is not possible. Because Rota Hole is an overhead environment (a cave with a ceiling), it is restricted to certified divers only.

Q. Skin Diving & Snorkeling

Q. Can I go to Rota Hole?

A. Generally, no. Entering or exiting Rota Hole requires diving through a passage about 10m long at a depth of 7m or more. We do not recommend this unless you are an exceptionally experienced skin diver.

　

Q. Can I participate in the tour if the weather is bad?

A. We can dive in the rain as long as the sea conditions are stable. However, tours will be cancelled if we determine that diving is unsafe due to typhoons or heavy swells.
If we cancel the tour for safety reasons, no fee will be charged. However, please note that cancellation fees apply if you choose to cancel for personal reasons.

Ｑ．貴重品は預かっていただけますか？

Ａ．貴重品は、必ずホテルのセーフティボックスにお預けください。
ショップ内にお客様用のロッカーをご用意しておりますが、万一ツアー参加中に盗難や置忘れ等のいかなる理由によって紛失された場合でも一切の責任を負いかねますので予めご了承ください。

Ｑ．カード支払いは出来ますか？

Ａ．クレジットカードでのお支払いをご希望されるお客様は、事前にお問い合わせいただけますようお願い申し上げます。現金（US$）もしくはトラベラーズチェックでのお支払いをお願い申し上げます。両替所はロタ島にはありませんのでご注意ください。

Ｑ．ファンダイビングについて

Ｑ．ロタホールのベストシーズンは？

Ａ．一般的には4月から9月。実際に光が差し込む2月中頃から10月中頃までですが、季節風の関係で2～3月と10月は荒れていけない場合もあります。また太陽の角度が低いので光の見られる時間が限られます。
もちろん４月から9月の間でも必ず潜れるというわけではありません。7月から9月くらいまでは台風シーズンになりますが、最近は時期外れに台風が来る事もあります。

Ｑ．初心者でもロタホールに潜れますか？

Ａ．潜れますが、ご自身で浮力をコントロールできる中性浮力スキルが必要です。ロタホールはハルノン岬に近いことで、流れが強い日があります。この場合、安全を優先し断念せざる場合がございますのでご了承ください。

Ｑ．ボートにトイレや真水はありますか？

Ａ．トイレはございません。ダイブ毎にショップに戻りますのでショップのトイレをご利用ください。飲料水はボートに準備しております。

Ｑ．体験ダイビングについて

Ｑ．ロタホールで潜りたいですが、可能ですか？

Ａ．できません。洞窟内で天井がある部分があるので、ライセンス保持者しか行けません。

Ｑ．スキンダイビング、スノーケルについて

Ｑ．ロタホールに行けますか？

Ａ．通常は行けません。ロタホールの出入り口が長さ約10ｍ、深さ7m以上のところを潜っていかないと入れないので、よほどの経験のある方でない限りお勧めしておりません。

　

Ｑ．天気が悪くてもツアーに参加できますか？

Ａ．雨が降っていても海況が安定していれば潜れます。ただし、台風などの影響でダイビング不可能と判断された場合は中止となります。
また、上記が原因で中止になった場合、料金は請求しませんが、お客様の都合でキャンセルした場合はキャンセル料がかかりますので予めご了承ください。
